Flash Drafting
In writing today, students germinated their seed ideas into stories through the flash drafting process. They used their personal narrative graphic organizers and the mental movie of their idea to write as much and as fast as possible. Some students chose to draft on paper, while others picked to type. Most got quite a bit done today, which was the goal, so they'll review the drafts in a few days. It is important to remember that a flash draft is supposed to be a draft, or a piece of work that they'll continue to revise to make better.
