In reading on Friday, we learned about plot lines or story mountains. We began by thinking about how stories are structured and drawing the lines. Then, we looked at the words that fit on the plot line - exposition, rising in action, climax, falling action, and resolution - and we tried to place these on the line. Finally, we discussed the purpose and importance of each part of the plot line.
As students were dismissed, they were to think about what part of the the plot line they're currently reading in their book. Next week, as we read books and watch short Pixar movies, we'll place information/events from the book on the plot line.
